Learning from the Frontlines of Autonomous Innovation

Guidance Marine has long pursued innovation at the intersection of precision sensing and autonomous navigation. By combining local and global positioning, hazard detection, and autodocking capabilities, we aimed to address real-world maritime challenges with practical, integrated sensor solutions.

One of our most formative experiences came through the IntelliTug project, a collaborative initiative to explore the future of autonomous vessel operations. As part of the project, PSA Marine's tug PSA Polaris was equipped with a suite of Guidance Marine sensors, including the RS24 short-range radar and Dynamic Positioning support systems.
